Romans 11:36: “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen.”
Though this verse was penned by the Apostle Paul, under divine inspiration (2 Peter 1:21, and 2 Timothy 3:16), in the 1st century, it stands true for all time; from eternity to eternity. Some people deny such inspiration and deny eternity itself. Yet, does their denial take away from its power and beauty? Does one’s denial of logic take away from the logic upheld in the conversation itself? Those who have become children of God must not bow to the denials, thoughts, and ideas of others who have aligned themselves against truth. Remember, from GOD, to GOD, and through GOD are ALL things.
Dear friends, this is imperative. We can and must relate everything to God. As Creator, He grounds the purposes of everything in existence. What is the purpose of a man? What is the purpose of a woman? Of humankind as a whole? See 1 Corinthians 11:12. What is the purpose of government? See Romans 13:1-7. What is the purpose of the Law? See Romans 3:20.
“EVERY SINGLE MUSclE CONTRACTION IS A BEAUTIFUL WORK OF ART CRAFTED BY THE DIVINE ORCHESTRATION OF GOD.”
How can someone be called a successful man if we have not established the purpose? How can someone be called a successful woman if we have not established the purpose? So on and so forth. We have the parts, abilities, and higher societal structures that we do because God grounds what was to come into existence in the first place. What is an arm, but a beautiful invention of God that he gifted man to tend and keep the earth, and to be fruitful and mutiply upon the Earth (Genesis 1:26-28). Am I making too much of the arm? Actually, I do not think I am making enough of it. The list goes on, from the arm, to the foot, to the head, to the chemicals within the body, to the exterior skin. No matter how much we learn about each part, we will only be scratching the surface. And that is okay; the finite cannot understand the full ways and craftsmanship of the infinite; we need only act justly and full of love (the real love, not the gooey, fake kind) with what we do have.
So, from Him, and through Him, and to Him. Everything. Nothing excluded. Talk about your favorite food and relate it to God. Talk about your favorite sport, season, and hobbies, and relate them to God. Talk about sleep, nutrition, and exercise, and relate them to God. Concerning exercise, there are no maverick reps. Every single muscle contraction is a beautiful work of art crafted by the divine orchestration of God. Don’t ever let anybody tell you that you talk about God too much. How can someone talk too much about the One who gave them the ability to talk in the first place? This does not mean people only need talk with their mouths, but in the works of their hands. Even if you are not talking aloud or working, praise Him with your thanks and thoughts towards Him, the other image-bearers He has created, and the world He has created. If we don’t, the rocks will cry out (Luke 19:40).
