The mission

My story

I was born in Texas in 1999 as a preemie. Despite my early arrival into the world, my entrance into adulthood has felt anything but premature. After living in Texas for a short time, my family and I moved to Arizona, then to Idaho, before finally putting down roots in Colorado. After 13 years of living in the midst of the awe-inspiring views of the Rocky Mountains, by way of a job opportunity for my father, I have found myself back where it all started: in Texas.

Through this beautifully intricate journey, I have grown; in my knowledge, in my goals, and most importantly, in my faith. Being filled with a passion for writing, fitness, and faith, it is my goal to share this journey with you, so that we may sharpen one another, as iron sharpens iron. Let us be faithfully fit together: physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Personal Goals:

It’s not about what we want to be when we grow up, but WHO we want to be when we get there. I am currently looking forward to starting my physical therapy program in 2023. As a young child, I always wanted to be a doctor . . . crazy how that far-reaching hope never really left my heart. The opportunity to fulfill my passion for exercise, an interest in the beautiful creation of the human body, and caring for others has formed my true ambition. All of that said, “A man’s heart plans his ways, but the LORD directs his steps” (Proverbs 16:9).

I received my degree in exercise science, which overlaps very well with my study path of physical therapy. I plan to use the knowledge I have had the blessing to attain in order to help others on their lifestyle change and health optimization  journey.

Mission Statement:

The goal of Apologia Athlete is to help you realize your identity, to help you embrace your gifts, and to offer encouragement as you use those gifts to serve God and others.
